If you need somewhere for breakfast this weekend, my favourite place is Uliveto in Darlinghurst (underneath Hugos). The cafe gets sunshine during breakfast hours, perfect for sitting outside and enjoying a coffee and reading the paper. You never have to wait too long for a seat, but the place is constantly pumping. You won’t be disappointed with the menu either, breakfast is served all day, with the lunch menu also looking just as appetising. Dont forget to check the specials board as they often have some really tasty options up there as well.

Coffee is always perfect…and much needed for a morning caffeine hit.

This is the boyfriend’s favourite…breakfast sandwich with spinach, bacon, grilled tomato and fried egg. I think it’s the bread that makes it so good as it doesn’t fall apart when your eating it, and the slight woody taste from the crisp outer edge gives it that extra flavour which you dont get with a turkish bread or normal bread roll.

One of my favourite orders is the walnut toast with ricotta, tomato, avocado, black olive tapenade and a boiled egg. This is a very mediterranean style breakfast so I guess that’s why I love it so much. Sorry for the crazy lighting, but the sun was shining through the beams above and casting some weird shadows.

My brother Damo ordered the egg’s benedict with a side of mushrooms, one of his fave orders off any breakfast menu it seems. Bit too heavy for my liking, but he enjoyed thoroughly.

So there you have it, a quick post on a fantastic cafe with an awesome vibe. Check it out if you want somewhere new for breakfast/brunch/lunch this weekend, I assure you won’t be disappointed. Happy Weekend Ya’ll xx
