Happy Saturday lovelies!!
I have a quick post with some smile-happy pictures today. Two weeks ago we headed up to Palm Beach on a sunny Sunday. We stopped for lunch at the Boathouse, which I have blogged about previously, but from the Boathouse in Balmoral Beach. Having the same owners, the overall concept is the exact same but the location is different. The venues are a photographers dream, with so many pretty things around to snap shots of, and flowers to make every girl happy.
Out the back they have lovely outdoor seating right on the water, and we got to watch sea planes take off and land which was something different.
Overall lunch was really lovely, but I will warn you, it is very pricey. I think next time it would be nice to pack a picnic, and find ourselves a nice spot on the grass. My friend also told me that in the summer, it is nice to hire a boat and go around to different islands and stop for a swim. Bring on the summer time!!!
The Beer Battered Flathead Fish and Chips is served with a side of Tartare Sauce. Most definitely one of the most expensive fish and chips we have eaten at $29.00. It was cooked very nicely though, and I really liked the presentation in the individual steamer baskets.
I chose the Boathouse Salad, with Quinoa, Avocado, Celeriac, Labne and Grilled Salmon. I loved everything about it, the crunch, the perfectly cooked fish, the labne smeared around the bowl and the chewy quinoa, but it was also not cheap at $28.00.

…and some sneaky shots of us and the beautiful waterfront. I like to show off how beautiful Sydney is :).
Happy weekend & Happy eating!
