It makes me so happy to be sharing my Greece photos with you all now. I have posted quite a bit on Greece from 2012, but I never had enough photos from that trip to cover Athens and Patras properly. I made sure that my camera was out constantly on my last trip, and I now have content which covers both cities, but also some of the beautiful villages which we got to explore whilst driving around by ourselves. Todays post is a very quick snapshot of Athens. When we arrived from Rome, we stayed here for two nights before driving to Patras in the Peloponnese.
A lot of people tell me that Athens is a very ugly city, and on the grand scheme of things when you compare it to Rome and Paris, it is not as pleasant on the eye…from first glance. What it may lack in aesthetics, it makes up for in life though; the people, the food, the scenery, the atmosphere and the nightlife are all there in spectacular form, you just have to be willing to look and find it.
