For me, Rome is one of those cities that I fall in love with time and time again. Being my fourth visit to the Eternal City, my ideal past time is walking the streets and getting lost. Everything is in such close proximity, that you really can explore most of the city on foot. The architecture is simply beautiful, and being just after Christmas, the streets were packed with locals and tourists alike with a contagious buzz in the air. This trip to Rome was shorter then my previous, but we still managed to get around to my favourite parts of the city. In two days we made our way to the big attractions such as The Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, Piazza Navona, The Vatican, Vittorio Emanuele, Via Del Corso, Bonci Pizzarium for lunch, Trastevere for dinner on both nights, and Testaccio for lunch on our last day. Let’s just say it was a non-stop trip in the Italian capital.
