My Kiki Cake is written by me Angela Diamant (nickname: Kiki). I am a 23 year old living in Sydney and have a great passion for food. My background is Greek and I have grown up being surrounded by food, and enjoy how it can bring people together- dinner with the whole family is a regular in my house. Unfortunately, I don’t have many food dislikes, and love sweet and savoury food equally, I am never one to deny trying something new.

I have always liked the idea of being a chef, but don’t think I could survive the long hours or pressure, so instead I have happily decided that cooking  & eating will be my hobby. I am constantly on the lookout for new food establishments in Sydney, and am willing to try just about every type of cuisine – you can travel from one side of Sydney to the other and come across such a wide mix of cultures and food.

This blog will be used to share my own food & travel experiences and also learn about the experiences of others. I love it when people ask me for a recommendation on where to eat and through this blog I want to share my food adventures, so that others can enjoy them as well. I don’t perceive myself as a food critic and will rarely comment or make judgements on a place, this blog is purely to share my love of food and provide you with some food porn.
